What is the best foundation for a dewy look? I have combination skin and currently use smashbox studio skin
I really would like to know what foundation you can suggest for an oily skin with medium coverage and a matte finish, but not so matte :)
RAMY Elixer Liqui-Powder foundation is pretty amazing. It's a cream to powder foundation that wears like bare skin but covers brilliantly. Being that it has the powder already in it, it self adjusts to your skin's conditions and sets to a smooth micronized powder finish.
What foundations would you recommend are the best for oily skin with medium coverage and matta finish but not too matte would like a natural look? =)
Hi I was just wondering what foundation is good for covering pores. My cheeks n nose are the worst. What should I use? It looks like I have little holes in the skin. When I put my foundation on I do it in a circular motion but I think it's my foundation. It's not very good. Love watching your videos xx
Hi Sam and Nic! I absolutely am hooked on Pixiwoo..it's MY bedtime stories : ) I was just curious to know how to cover up Really dark under circles. Does concealer go over the foundation or under, I've heard a lot of different opinions. I don't know if you've done videos already but I'm going through as many videos as possible, any advice would be appreciated. P.S. what makeup brushes are the best to us??Love, Nadia all the way from southern California : )
Hello Sam and Nic!Congratulations for your blog and youtube channel, I love both.I would like to know where I can buy a natural false lashes, but I don't want to look like a doll or a porn star! I would like something like this http://www.meltycampus.fr/pretty-little-liars-les-heroines-sont-elles-des-etudiantes-modeles-galerie-444655-1326004.htmlThank you! Greetings from spain!
Ardell "Babies" are small and nice for a natural look. iEnvy by KISS has a really wonderful natural looking lash, the style is "Au Naturelle" The hairs are shorter so you won't look like a Kardashian, just like you have more of your own lashes. If you have longer lashes, choose the longer au naturale lash. I love these! http://ienvybykiss.com/2013/portfolio/au-naturale-01-extra-short-kpe08xs/

I've been watching your videos for a few years now, and recommend them to all my friend's/students!!! I was wondering if you would do a makeup tutorial based on Billie Piper's "Secret Diary of a Call Girl". Her makeup on that show is superb. -Lucie

Great channel. I have dark skin (Mac NC45) I am looking to wear a orange lipstick, Ive seen Melanie Fiona wearing one and I looking to recreate a similar look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKcMZ92A9Hc.I think she wears the lip colour with a brown lipliner? Any ideas of how I can recreate the look for my skin tone?ThanksCarol : )
Hi Sam and Nic. Thanks so much for the tutorials. Love it soooo much :))I was wondering if you have any tips on how to prevent foundation from becoming too oily after some time. I live in country with high humidity so my make up tends to get oily. I don't really like using but I will if needed to. Thank you and big hugs for both of you.Marlyn
Sam and Nic, I really love your work! I've been watching your videos religiously since the beginning. It has always been really interesting to watch you guys execute such iconic looks so easily even before i was allowed to wear makeup. Now that I am allowed, I chose not to, but I still watch your videos because you talent really fascinates me. It is extraordinary! My favorite videos are the Sophia Loren look that Sam did along with her dewy skin makeup. Nic's 10 steps to flawless skin is very useful! I really sincerely want to thank you girls for teaching me so much throughout the years. As I said, I rarely wear makeup, but I love using the things I've learned from your videos to help my friends feel good about themselves after a bad day or just have fun with makeup for a night out. Anyway, I was wondering if you could do an Andy Warhol Superstar Series! I think it would be fabulous! Some of my favorites are Nico (from the Velvet Underground), International Velvet/Susan Bottomly, and Viva. They are all beautiful women, but each is so different from the other. Thank you so much for your time and I really really hope that you do these videos!!!! It would be a lot of fun!<3 - Angela
I would love to see a Kendall Jenner makeup tutorial! Thank you for all your videos they are the best!
I absolutely love your work. . I would love to see a Kendall Jenner makeup tutorial! You're truly amazing!
I love your work, i was wondering where you both were trained?
Hi Sam and Nic! I really love your blog and youtube channel and have been a fan for ages! This week my super glamorous cousin who is 24 was diagnosed with leaukemia. She has the most beautiful waist length natural blonde hair and looks amazing all the time. However she needs a year or two of intensive chemotherapy and will unfortunately loose her hair, lashes etc. I was wondering do you have any beauty tips or ideas for what she can do to feel beautiful or make up tips me and her sisters can do on her when she's feeling up to it? Thanks- Chloe
Love your work. Check out Frinble.com
I LOVE Pixiwoo - thought you were fab recently on Gok's stripping for summer, and just can't get enough. I had a low time after my little ones were born 18 months apart and lost all sense of who I was / what I like for 'me' time. It was stumbling across your channel on youtube that helped me get back to normal again - a pick me up, and a reminder of how fab it is to be a woman. Thank you both so much...I'd love to know your thoughts on Bio Oil as part of a nighttime facial routine - as I've always used it, but a lot of people look surprised when I say that! What are your thoughts (and frankly everyone woman that's ever had a baby will have some lingering in a cupboard somewhere!!). Also any comments on the Liz Earle product range for skin. Thanks for putting such a positive image of real women out there. Keep up the fab work :)
I love Pixiwoo! I stumbled across you on youtube at a really low time, after having two kids 18 months apart I had lost all sense of who I was and what I loved as 'me' time. My mum had died a few years before I had the kids, so I was in at the deep end and with no respite during the 9-6 when my husband was at work. Stumbling across your videos one night began the process of changing that and bringing me back to feeling 'normal' again. Digging out my old pots of MAC eyeshadows, and updating looks I used to love, but had lost the confidence/time/energy to do anymore. It gave me my confidence and a bit of sparkle back, and I've worked on carving out a little bit of time for myself of an evening, and first thing in the morning to do a bit of make-up and set myself up for a good day. Thank you both so much for making it accessible, fun, friendly and most of all 'real'. You have done me the world of good - and I've had so many comments since, and I rave about Pixiwoo to anyone that will listen.Randomly - I would love to see a video on your thoughts of Bio Oil as a facial nighttime oil (moisturizer alternative) I've always used it but several friends think I'm crazy when I've mentioned it. (what woman with kids doesn't have some lingering in a cupboard somewhere!). Also thoughts on Liz Earle skin care products would be great to see - there are so many out there, and this brand keeps cropping up in conversations with friends as good value for money, a good british brand, and well worth it (does what it says on the tin). Thank you so much - keep being fabulous and helping us all to do the same :)
HI, Sam and Nic I love your tutorial son make up...However I have a constant struggle to find really great Brown Mascara...I have pale skin, with small almond shape green eyes...Black mascara looks hideous on me. Anyway hope you can help me out...Jan
