Continuous hair colouring, blow-drying, central heating and
lack of TLC over the winter has left my hair feeling pretty crap. It’s just
totally confused with greasy roots and super dry ends. I regularly use hair
masks and overnight treatments which definitely do help however I’ve been on
the hunt for a spritz in product which will give me a little added protection
and care during styling.
For the last 3 weeks after every hair wash (twice a week
usually) I have been misting the Living Proof restore perfecting spray through
before drying with a hair dryer.
The packaging, as with all Living Proof products is
particularly chic. It has a soft touch bottle in a soft lilac. I know that
makes no difference to the product inside, but we all want our products to look
nice on the shelf don’t we?
It’s basically a one-stop shop so great if you have zero
time. It targets damaged hair through hydrating the cuticle, smoothes the hair
and provides a good old moisture shot. It doesn’t feel heavy in the hair and
once dry I couldn’t detect any weird chalky texture. It also smells nice, which
is important when you try and avoid washing your hair for as long as possible!
It provides heat
protection up to 400 degrees and also has a time-release formula, which
continues to condition after use.
It’s not a cheap product unfortunately but you only need a
couple of spritzes through the length of your hair and if you only wash your
hair as often as me then it’s going to last you ages.
It’s available from this March at M&S, SpaceNK, John
Lewis and Cult beauty. It’s #26.00 for a 236ml spray bottle.
this looks great, i really need somthing like this as my hair gets so damaged and my split ends are not great haha xx

I just bought this last week because I realized the leave in I was using for years has silicones in it. I also bought the Living Proof Nourishing Oil since the organ oil I was using also contained silicones. So far, so good for both! Living Proof is so expensive but the styling products I have tried have lived up to the hype. The shampoo and conditioners not so much. Their dry shampoo is the best I have ever used but the bottle runs out so fast for how much it costs.
