YSL Mascara Vinyl Couture

Nothing screams Summer more than a coloured mascara. Layer them on top of your black mascara, wear them on their own, dab onto the tips or just coat the bottom lashes. Adds a little something extra to your lash look without too much extra effort.

Nine new shades of which we have eight of. The wand is a narrow firm bristle brush and the mascara consistency is creamy.

The vinyl title suggests it will give you a high gloss finish but we didn't really think that was apparent.
The shades are nice though, the darker tones could easily be confused for black on the lashes but the brighter shades made more of an impact.
There are also two shimmering top coats in silver and gold which would be nice to store away ready for the festive season.

These are £25.00 each and available from today here.

  1. Love the idea of these to add a little something to a smoky eye, but not sure I'd get enough use of it to justify it x

  2. Wow!!! Time to Jazz up Summer

  3. I just bought the purple and while the colour isn't as vibrant as I would like, the mascara formula is the best ever - length, definition, and best of all, no smudging! At all! All day long! I may need more of these.

  4. The colors are amazing!

  5. I haven't worn colourful mascaras for years and now I don't have the courage to wear it. I'm unpredictable looks good, colour I'd actually wear!

  7. The Brush is the same as the Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils so hopefully you will like it!

  8. Love these colors!! Looks amazing!

  9. thank you so much for this review. I've never been a fan of coloured mascaras as I felt they look weird on my lashes. But, this selection is so beautiful. I'd love to try a gold mascara, i feel like it's the most versatile one, but unique at the same time x

  10. I love the idea of these, but practically speaking I don't think I'd every wear them except for the odd costume party! x

  11. Nice post!

  12. I love the idea but I can't justify the price when I'll use it maybe once or twice before having to bin it. Stargazer do some cheap and cheerful coloured mazzy for those looking for more unusual shades such as red on a budget.
