The iconic image is of Uma Thurman as Mia Wallace. A look i'm sure most of us have recreated in our time.

The collection features a five shadow eye palette, lipstick and lip liner to create the perfect red pout, nail varnish and liquid liner.
The five shadows are powder and have a really amazing payoff however the texture is a little crumbly and does drop. Shades are a mix of matte and satin finishes. One of the colours is split between a white shimmer and matte black. The palette is £17.50.
The packaging features the Ezekiel passage quoted by Jules Winnfield in the film.
The liquid liner (£14.00) is a black liner infused with a silver glitter. Mia Wallace never wore a glitter liner in the film however Urban Decay have tried to give the collection a more modern twist. I think I prefer the look with a jet black liner though.
The lip products are a good colour match for the image of Mia in the film. A deep cherry red with a soft sheen. The pencil called Miss Mia Wallace is also waterproof. Base your lips with this liner and you will always have a red stain to the lips even after hours of wear.
The lipstick also called Miss Mia Wallace is £15.00 and the liner is £13.00.
It is very 90's to have matching lips and nails so team up the nails with the deep red nail varnish (£10.00) also called Miss Mia Wallace.
This collection is available from September from selected Debenhams, House of Fraser, Selfridges and online from Feel Unique and Beauty Bay.
Such a great range - can't wait to try it! Love the look of the eye palette!

I've never seen the film but I've ordered the palette because I thought they'd be useful everyday colours-hope there isn't too much fallout after you mentioning it!x

It's a nice set but I'll stick with the original Chanel shades used in the movie.

Great film. But I really feel old now...
ReplyDeleteI loved the film and I'll probably buy the set.
ReplyDeleteIt's mostly classic shades.
Maybe I'm becoming classic if this film was twenty years ago.
I'm surprised by how much I like the colors of these shadows. And I would love to see you do a tutorial of Uma's look from the film! One of my favorites. Love, love your blog & youtube, thanks for sharing your talent with us. xoxo.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd invest in some of this range but not all... not to keen on the eye shadows... however the Heavy Metal eyeliner looks fun!
