Jurlique Mists

If you haven't experienced Jurlique you must check out their website. Jurlique is a beautiful brand that uses organic ingredients to create pure skin care. From their farm in south Australia (which is on my list of places to visit) they grow and develop ingredients to ensure everything they produce is natural and environmentally sound.

The latest products we have been testing are their facial mists. There are seven types of toning mists within the brand. We have been using two of them. The calming mist and balancing mist.

The mists are in a very chic 100ml bottle which looks particularly chic standing on my dressing table. I'm one of those sad people that like to keep products in their boxes and as the Jurlique boxes are pretty beautiful I'm sure I'll be keeping these boxes also!

Facial mists can be a little confusing. There are a ton of different ones out there. Lots are just spring water that provide a moment of freshness and then evaporate on the skin leaving it feeling dryer than ever.
There are however ones such as these ones which have added ingredients to benefit your particular skin type.

Calming Mist...
Obviously good for a sensitive skin but also for those of you have redness or a skin type which flares up easily. If you have this type of skin I would always try and find out what it is you are allergic to first before spritzing on more products.
In here you have Calendula which is good for irritation, sunburn, dermatitis and eczema.
Chamomile which is well known to calm the skin and also provides a subtle relaxing scent.
You can also really smell cucumber in this which provides freshness and hydrates.
Shake and spritz on after moisturising and/or after you finish applying your makeup.

Rosewater Balancing Mist...
We always think that when a product says balancing it means it's for an oily/combi skin. In this case it's balancing for a slightly dryer skin.
Good for those who find that their foundation sometimes clings to the odd dry patch. If you have dry areas spray this onto your foundation brush and then buff over the area. The moisture will help soften the dry areas and help blend the foundation in.
Marshmallow root calms irritation and is good for chapped skin making this a saviour in the winter months. Rose calms and brightens and aloe helps with moisturising and healing.
As with before shake and spray over the face after moisturising or during makeup application.

These sprays are available in two sizes of 50ml (£16.50) and 100ml (£21.50)

  11. Spend More Time With Your Children
It does not matter if you work full time or part time. Maybe you stay at home with your children but you are working from home. Even if you stay home with your children, you are busy trying to get everything done. No matter who you are, you probably think that you are not spending enough time with your children. Quality time, that is. There are many ways to spend more time with your children.
Your children do not need to play every sport or do every extracurricular activity out there. You could spend all of your time running your children from one practice to another. Pick just one or two activities that your children love and stick with them.
Plan family dinners where everyone sits at the table, eats, and talks about their day.
Make dinners special so everyone likes to spend time together while eating.
Let your children help when you are working on things.
They can help fix dinner, clean, and fix things. Children learn by watching and doing. Chores can turn into time together so that they are much more enjoyable.
Do things that your children want to do.
It is hard when the house is a mess but get on the floor and play with your children. Play games that they enjoy. Have a movie night and watch their favorite movie.
Find things that you enjoy doing together.
Arts and crafts can be a big hit. NightArt is helping bring parents and children together. You can design a drawing and watch it light up together.
No one feels like they spend enough time with their children. However, you need to make the most of time spent together, instead of worrying if you are spending enough time together. Find things that you enjoy doing together, like NightArt. Check it out at It will bring out the artist in everyone, bringing families together.

  12. I adore the Jurlique Rosewater Spray. So refreshing but it does not dry out my skin.
Having grown up in Adelaide, I am very biased, but I think it is a beautiful part of the world. The wine from the Barossa Valley is world class. Visit, you'll love it too :-)
