MAC Warm and Cool Eyeshadow Palettes

For spring and just in time for wedding season MAC have launched their warm and cool eye shadow palettes.

Each palette has some regular colours and some new colours. You can buy empty palettes normally which are £14.00 and fill them with the pro pan eye shadows at £10.00 each. For a full palette you would be looking at £164 but these new palettes already filled with 15 colours are £65.00 each. That's a huge saving of £99.00!!
The colours are predetermined though so don't go into MAC stores expecting to swap about certain colours.

The colours are a mixture of matte, veluxe, satin, frost and veluxe pearl textures.

  4. These are so lovely but it has taken away the fun of picking and building your own palette, I've just started my second palette, I know it costs a lot more to build your own but its not as noticeable when done over time, I think these are a great price considering what you get. Great post x

  17. Hey There everyone and the amazing two Pixiwoos !

These have been out for just over a month now and are very popular,If you are in the UK check out Debenhams and House of Frasers stores as well as Jenners!

So I live in the UK and yes the price of these Palette are £65.00 what a bargain!

They are so amazing and gorgeous too,but like another commenter I was slightly annoyed as have started on my palette - £14.00 for palette and £6.50 for the insert as well as £10.00 for each eyeshadow.
But do you know what,I looked at my palette and the colours I have picked so far are greens, peaches and shroom etc and nothing is in the palettes that are similar to what I have.

Maybe I am just lucky I was not building up a natural palette as I already have a Laura Mercier one and various others in natural shades.

Total bargain and I will be getting both warm and cool palettes-loving the buy and go element!
No more trying to remember what I have or write it down before I go to Mac just pick up a cool or warm palette.

Fantastic for any beginner too as this would help you assess what colours you use most and prefer!
