Check our summer alternatives out....
Bourjois Volume Glamour Max Holidays V's Chanel Imitable Waterproof Mascara
Bourjois always bring out some fab products and their new mascara's in Electric Blue and Green Lagoon are amazing dupes for Chanel Summer collection mascaras in Blue note and Aqua Blue.
Chanel Mascara is £24.00 and Bourjois is £5.99.
Laura Mercier Eye Canvas V's Zoeva Eyeshadow Fix Matte
Although Laura Mercier Eye Canvas is a fabulous product to keep your eyeshadow on all day however Zoeva Eyeshadow Fix is a fantastic dupe resulting in the same finish and longevity.
Laura Mercier is £22.50 and Zoeva Shadow fix is £4.99
Clinique Chubby Sticks V's Bourjois Colour Boost
Bourjois again showing us an alternative to our expensive faves with their Colour Boost Crayon. I think there a few brands that have now done these but these are a gorgeous product with the same glossy finish as the Clinique Chubby Sticks
Clinique Chubby Stick is £17.00 and Bourjois Colour Boost is £7.99
Sleek Glo in Bronze Baby V's Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmer Brick
Sleek are always our go to brand here at Pixiwoo to keep up to date with the latest colour trends but at an affordable price. Sleek's Shimmer Brick has the same shimmer finish as the Bobbi Brown version and a really similar selection of colours.
Sleek is priced at £6.49 and Bobbi Brown is £32.00
Have you come across any good dupes recently?
We would love to hear from you.
The MUA 'Undressed' palette (£4.00) is supossed to be a really good dupe for urban decay's naked palette (£36.00)
ReplyDeleteI own an MUA Palette and they are really good, not as pigmented but stay on very well.

Thanks for the tip.x
DeleteA little bit of UD primer potion works well with the MUA eyeshadows
DeleteThank you for this post ! I love dupes !
ReplyDeleteNot too long ago I noticed that Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in shade 90 is almost identical to MAC's Impassioned; both are bright pinks--great for summer!

in the US, Target stores carry a $10 Sonia Kashuk dupe for Chanel Soleil de Tan!!
ReplyDeleteI wish the bourjois products were actually drugstore priced here in Canada - the Healthy Mix sells for $27 and those Color Boost pencils are $18 (compared to say Revlon which are $10)
ReplyDeleteI heard that Bourjois cosmetics come from the same factory as Chanel ... maybe that is the reason of similarity that products.. :) By the way - I have to try them..
ReplyDelete99% certain that they do!
DeleteOh and L'oreal and Lancome are the same company so you will find a lot of products are duplicated for less cost!
DeleteThis post could not have come at a better time. I was going to buy myself a Clinique Chubby Stick tomorrow but now I've seen this think I might go for a Bourjois one instead. Thank you!

Rimmels Notting Hill Nude is a great dupe for MAC's Honey Love! Only difference is in the formula- Rimmel's is slightly more Satin finished. Excellent lipstick though!

The Bourjois Colour Boost Crayona really are great dupes for the Clinique Chubby Sticks. I already have one shade, but I'll definitely be buying more of them.

Hi Pixiwoo! Are the Bourjois blue mascaras similar to the Chanel in performance? I can see that the colours are almost identical! I've never tried a Bourjois mascara before, but the Chanel ones are quite incredible. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteThis has just come in time. I wanted to do a post on a different take on wearing coloured mascara for those who dont want the editorial look but was looking for a dupe for the chanel one.
ReplyDeleteIf it's okay Ill add a link to this comment once I have done the post - but only if its okay with you. I always feel rude if I don't ask.
I know one of the Sleek eyeshadow palettes has a dupe for MAC's woodwinked but cant remember which one. :S
I have an Essence allover that is really the same as the Bobbi Brown and Sleek ones. For 3.99 € :)
ReplyDeletepersonally, I think Bourjois Liner Effet Mascara (rubber brush) is a great dupe for Chanel's inimitable as well! It has a similar rubber brush and the liner effect gives you just as much length as Inimitable when it comes to your lashes! Recently I bought Inimitable again and I noticed that while it does wonders for my lashes, it also dries out rather quicky, which is unfortunate because it's quite pricey. gonna stick with liner effect again! :)
ReplyDeletepersonally, I think bourjois liner effect is also a great dupe for the inimitable mascara's, it has a similar rubber brush but only comes in black! i've been alternating the both, but right now i would say i like the liner effet the best, it has a better price and does not dry out as quickly as inimitable. :) sometimes i even buy it on sale, i pay about 6 or 7 euro's, love it! :D
ReplyDeleteI have a dupe for the Bobbi Brown bronzer, its called GLOW by 17. It's exactly the same! My favourite at the moment.
ReplyDeleteFor those Aussie readers check out the CHI CHI palettes they are amazingly pigmented and dupes for most Urban Decay products
