Lady Gaga is releasing her debut fragrance this September produced by her own creative team at Haus Laboratories.
The 100ml Black fluid Eau De Parfum comes in a weighty glass bottle with gold clawed cap (reminds me of the manual metal head massagers!)
The innovation of this fragrance is that it is a black liquid which sprays out clear.I have tested the spray on white material as I was worried it would stain black but no trace of the black liquid was visible.
The scent inspired by the plant Belladonna (deadly nightshade) has deep notes of honey, saffron and apricot nectar whilst it's lighter notes consist of Tiger orchid, and Jasmine.
These ingredients work together to give a heavy floral smell but with a light sweetness to it.
I believe this fragrance would appeal to people who like a strong, heady fragrance that lasts for hours on the skin. Not by any means a subtle summer scent but a winter evening fragrance in my opinion.
You will like this if you are a fan of Illamasqua Freak Or the Thierry Mugler Angel fragrance/
Pictured along side the fragrance is the 200ml shower gel which also comes out as a black fluid but foams up into a clear lather.
This fragrance is available from September 2012 and is £55.00 for 100ml
The shower gel is £15.00 and there is also a body lotion with this collection which is priced at £15.00 for 200ml

ReplyDeleteit isn't unique. she ripped the coloured eau de parfum thing off boudicca who released thier perfume wode [inspired by the plant wode and black hemlock] about 4 years ago.

ReplyDeleteThe bottle and the way you decribe the strong, long wearing smell sounds like the Alien perfume by Theirry Mugler, which is awesome, might have to give this a go! the black fluid is very cool too x
ReplyDeleteI don't really like it. Bottle is made of cheap plastic and glass, black liquid leaves ugly marks on bright clothes.. I was taking a part of promotion evening at Superdrug and... I found Gaga Fame not really exciting and "new".
