Well, I don't know how you do it! you look so beautifully fresh all the time...Do you do a 'make up before tutorial make up'? Like when people clean before the cleaner comes round? Fabulous.
Absolutely Beautiful tutorial, I love aishwarya, she's beautiful but this image is far too touched up for my liking. I dont think she needs to be this plastic looking in the advert because she has such natural beauty. Great video

Absolutely stunning Sam! It never fails to amaze me how you can recreate a look just from looking at a picture, especially one that's been touched up or changed. I am curious if you have an all time favorite makeup look? xxxooo ashleykristy
I think it turned out spot on. I'm actually a fan of Photoshopping as an art technique. Not to sell something as reality. And I think there's a definite difference. The only way I see ever having a happy compromise is to release both images as approved - both photoshopped and editorial. But you nailed the makeup!
Amazing job Sam, this makeup gives you such a youthful look- I'm jealous. Btw, I love-love-love that RT blusher brush- finally got my hands on one, and I love the super soft application- it's amazing for my ridiculously bright blushers and a fraction of the price of the Nars Yachiyo! Awesome stuff!
This is a beautiful look. I'm not familiar with the model in the photo but she's much more beautiful in the photo above the Loreal one. I'm not really sure why they feel the need to lighten her skin. Her natural skin color is just downright gorgeous and they airbrushed it away to look like...well...someone all together different.
She's actually darker in life than she is in the upper picture. Indian makeup artists use foundation shades lighter than actual skin color, on face and body (though they often forget about the body).
well it is indian obsession ...tell anyone indian aishwarya is dark skinned s/he would kill you...they keep chanting aishwarya is fair and lovely....anyway perfect tutorial and natural beauty on you without photoshop and complexion change which is essential for me...
You are totally right. The look is quite difficult to recreate because the image of L'oreal is terribly (and unnecessarily) airbrushed. Having a beauty like Aishwarya, they don't need too much photoshop. Anyway, you've have recreated the look in an amazing way. But in my opinion, the curious thing is that you really look like Milla Jovovich with this look.
loved the look, but can you tell me some alternatives to the chanel eyeshadows because I bought ones .... they were gorgeous colors but even with primer always gone after like 30 min and they dont have good pigmentation.... they just didnt worth the money at all
Sam, she is photo shopped and you are not and Bible, you look like sisters, if not prettier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow,amazing how natural beauty shines through, inside and out. Love the Pixiwoo family,You also inspired me to color my hair Red by Avon and I am loving your brushes, just a few more I need to add to my collection, especially I want a few of the crease brushes~perfect brush! I don't have a lot of space from my crease up to my over plucked, lol, brows, but this brush has helped me blend darker shades, apply flawless concealer and powder around the eyes and problem areas, perfect to conceal and blend under brow and above and to place highlight above my blush! Yeah it does a few things, see why I need like 10 of them, but loving them all, best of luck! Kristi from the U.S xxoo

You are so beautiful, with or without makeup. You don't even need blusher, your cheeks are naturally rosy. I love that.

ReplyDeleteI think that you are waaaay more prettier than the visual that you're recreating.

ReplyDeleteI agree, her natural skin colour is glorious. I would kill for skin that colour!
DeleteI wouldn't call her too pale but she does pale a bit, she's more light olive skinned, but the pic above the loreal one she's a bit tanned than normal.
DeleteShe's actually darker in life than she is in the upper picture. Indian makeup artists use foundation shades lighter than actual skin color, on face and body (though they often forget about the body).
Deletei would trade my kidneys for that olive/dark skin. seriously why would someone photoshop this model?
