Would you believe that I have never written a post about my brushes?!
To be honest, initially I was embarrassed to talk about them. "YouTuber's" get accused of all kinds of deception and greed (some warranted, most not) and I certainly did not want it to look like I was trying to force opinion.
True to form, this is not a post about my brushes, but rather the tutorials that accompany them.
Perhaps some people are not aware of their existence and as I put so much hard work into creating them I better let you know where to watch them. Below are links to a few of my favourites.
Glitter Disco Look
Colour Blocking Look
Diva Lash Look
As these are brush tutorials I don't actually feature the make-up products in the video.
If you really know your stuff then you can jot down what you think i'm using and check it against the Real Techniques blog for a full product list.
I love your brushes! And I've always thought you should talk more about them! ^^
ReplyDeleteBut, I also think the best way to publicitate them is using the brushes in your tutorials (not only the in the RT ones), in order to see them "performing" =)
Congratulations, again, for the amazing product you designed!
I bought the core collection last month and I love them, can't wait until payday to get more! x
ReplyDeleteWOW :))
ReplyDeleteYour brushes look great im in need of some new brushes the ones i use are pretty much on their last legs!

ReplyDeleteI've only ever heard good things about your brushes, you should talk about them more. Like you said, you put a lot in to them xx
ReplyDeleteYour brushes are amazing and shouldn't be embaressed about talking about them, you should be proud :) Anyone who thinks your bragging is just jealous and should quite frankly, do one!

amazing looks like always! thanks for sharing! take care!
ReplyDeleteI recently got the Travel Essentials, Core Collection and the single Blush Brush and I think they are pretty good so far :-) My favourite is the Multi-Task Brush and I use it to apply liquid foundation. It works really well!
ReplyDeleteI have a ton of mac brushes but I seem to reach for my RT everyday. I love them! I wish you sold the buffing and sculpting brushes on their own. I need back ups I use them so much.
ReplyDeleteHAI!
ReplyDelete3 things:
1) Hope you're having wonderful holidays. Happy New Year))
2) I'm buying your brushes, because they seem to be the best deal on the market and because I've seen you use them. I can't wait to try them out)
3) I'd like to ask your advice reg. this issue:
I have dark eyebrows. I'd like to make them look lighter (more pale with a touch of sage) where as they are (again) dark brown. :((( SOS?
Best regards from Moscow, Russia!
Your fan,
Vicky.
I've had your brushes for a while now and love them. :)
ReplyDeleteAHHH i wish I could afford your brushes, I have heard such wonderful things. I love the fact you don't force them in our faces in your blog posts/videos, i think thats part of the reason they are so successful :) can't wait til I have a bit more money, these are deffo on the to buy list!
ReplyDeleteI got the core collection, starter, and stippling brush and I love them all! They arrived a day ago and I was so excited can't wait to buy the rest :)

I absolutely love you brushes! Application of my makeup has completely changed since I discovered them xxx
ReplyDeleteI'd love to know which one you use constantly for concealer??
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see those brushes in my hands !!!!
ReplyDelete@StephsBeauty&Things I use the Deluxe Crease Brush and sometimes the Domed Shadow Brush.
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving us affordable yet high-quality brushes! I got your brush sets a month ago and I use them all the time.
ReplyDeleteI have loads of your brushes! I purchased them from lovemakeup.com - they are amazing! They are such good quality, incredibly soft and they blend make up like a dream with no shedding and the brushes hold their shape after washed - i honestly couldn't be without them!!
ReplyDeleteMy only fault with the real techniques range is that I wish they were more easier to source in the UK via say Boots or Superdrug!
You and Nick are hugely talented at what you do, you're both a huge inspiration to me and I love watching the transformations - especially on the less wearable looks!!
Keep up the good work! x
I'll be purchasing the eye brushes this weekend. I'm so excited to try them out! :-)
ReplyDeleteI love love love your brushes. I grab for them first before my other brushes
ReplyDeleteHI Sam
ReplyDeleteThis is Josephine from Hong Kong. I love your brushes and videos. I got 3 brush sets via UK online store. It helps me to do the makeup in a simple and easy way. I bring them with me for traveling. Will it be launched in Asia, esp HK?
Loving the Glitter Disco look! :)
ReplyDeleteI have the travel essetial sett :D and i love it :D
ReplyDeleteHmm. The other day while googling beauty blogs & videos I stumbled across a site whose members devote themselves to 'trashing' YouTube make-up artists and accusing them of nefarious practices like trying to make a living. I spent a depressing ten minutes reading some of the posts before resolving to avoid such places; what a mean-spirited way to waste one's time. Suffice to say, I think most viewers know the difference between a little reasonable promotion and overdoing it. Well done on creating the brushes; there are so many 'I created my own line!' make-up brands but the tools you use make such a difference to whatever makeup you use, so these are a welcome addition.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your hair in this last picture, it is beautiful :)
ReplyDeletehttp://kerriemc.blogspot.com/
@Kerrie I did a tutorial for that hair on the 4 beauty website. Its really easy. x
ReplyDeleteI also like your hair in the last pic :) I have to check that tutorial out! Thanks :) x
ReplyDeletehttp://my-beautyful-world.blogspot.com/
I would love for you to do a tutorial on your own brush line!! Don't feel bad about talking about your own products, you use them all the time and I think your followers support you and would love to see you talk about them so we can use ours better!! Just saying :)
ReplyDeleteHi Sam!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your brushes :)
Just one question, to be sure... are they sold in any physical store, or the only way to buy them is online? (in UK)
Thank you
:)

Hi Girls !
ReplyDeleteI'm a belgian girl who's following you from the beginning. I'd ask if it's possible to have a tutorial of how you did your updo on the diva picture ( the last one). I just find it wonderful, but I've no idea of how to reproduce it...
Thanks, lot of love.
Amélie
love the last one :D
ReplyDeletewww.missmathful.blogspot.com
hii! i really love your bruhes and i want to buy them. do you know if there are anywhere in greece or should i order them online?
ReplyDeleteI bought the core collection and it is lovely, these brushes are so soft and excellent quality. I did a little review on my new blog! Thanks Sam for the inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteSam. Got the eye collection for Xmas! I love love love them! I prefer these over my MAC brushes mostly because your brushes have a blending ability that is unequaled. Less pigment fall out too. I use the 'liner' brush for a light application of daytime mascara, esp. inner corners and lower lashes. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThe last look is simply gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteI was trying to catch the name of your brushes in the tutorials and just couldn't find one. Lol! So glad there is a blog about them and yes, wish you would suggest them more often. I believe you have earned a spot in "respect of know how". ;) Merry Christmas!!!
