Avene Eau Thermale Cleansing Milk

French skincare brand Avene specialises in dealing with problem skin. If you have slightly dry, irritated or even allergic skin then Avene should be your first port of call.
Famous for its use of Thermal Spring water that is found in each of their products, renowned for it's soothing and hydrating properties. Recently, I've been using their cleansing milk as part of my skincare routine in a quest to keep skin hydrated and nourished through the winter months and I'm impressed with the results so far.

The rich moisture of the milk keeps skin soft and smooth as well as giving it a hydrated and glowing appearance. The cleanser is really gentle and effectively removes make-up without being at all irritating, make-up easily comes off with cotton pads and leaves the skin clean.

This is a really great cleanser for the effects of outdoor weather, and indeed lots of other Avene products are brilliant for even the harshest of weather conditions. This one in particular focuses on combating dry skin and sensitive skin so is perfect for me at this time of year.
Avene products are really great value for such quality and effectiveness, this cleanser is £11.50 for 200ml so you get a lot of product for the money spent - a good investment!
Avene is only available in pharmacies, in the U.K you can get it in Boots and other independent pharmacies.

from this brand i had no idea of, but have heard is often suggested by dermatologists. A bit similar to the avene one in the pot you have mentioned in some video, it feels to me much less oily and more healing and easily absorbed.

    cheers,
    xo.

  8. I have super dry sensitive skin and can thank Avene for it not freaking out the last few years! I love their Soothing Moisture Mask, Cicalfate Cream ( so wonderful for dry spots, damaged skin etc - I mix this with 2 drops of Bio Oil and use as my night cream) and the Cold Cream Lip Balm.

  13. I'm a big fan of Avene. The ladies in John Bell and Croyden recommended it to me as at 29 I still have slightly teenage skin and I've never looked back. Really nice, gentle products and not a billion-dollar price tag either. That said, I'm so skint right now I'm on Simple instead (which, dare I say it, is just as effective, if not quite as lovely).

  15. I love Avene and La Roche-Posay products, but what I find very annoying is that both a meant for sensitive and intolerant/allergic skin types and they use fragrance in their products. Simply ridiculous. LRP Nutritic and hydranorme are amazing at winter time, but both are so perfumed.

Here is the ingredient's list for the Gentle Milk Cleanser. If you want a similar product without perfume Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser or LRP Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser.

AVENE THERMAL SPRING WATER (AVENE AQUA). MINERAL OIL (PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM). PROPYLENE GLYCOL. PEG-6 STEARATE. PEG-32 STEARATE. BUTYLPARABEN. CARBOMER. FRAGRANCE (PARFUM). PHENOXYETHANOL. PROPYLENE GLYCOL STEARATE SE. SODIUM HYALURONATE. STEARIC ACID. TRIETHANOLAMINE. TRISODIUM EDTA.
