the angelina jolie cat eye make up looks sooo pretty on you, even better than on angelina :) i love your videos.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! Thanks for sharing! :) x
ReplyDeleteI have hooded eye and feel it is going to get smaller every time i make up
ReplyDeleteGreat videos! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSince my eyes are a combination of all three types - not as round as Angelina's; similar shape to Megan's; hooded, but not as much as Cat's - I can use some of the techniques taught in each video.
Striking eyes, by the way.
i have round eyes and i used Chanel illusion d’ombre shade 85 mirifique to get a feline shape. :)

AWESOME videos sam!
Yet again... another great post! You two are helping so many women fix the way they do makeup! You have corrected my mistakes and I'm so thankful for that!
ReplyDeleteHi Sam! Can you do a video on deep in-set eyes? Thanks!

Great! Could you please post a tutorial doing this on a monolid/hooded eyed person please? :)
ReplyDeleteGreat videos. Would you be able to put up the list of which make-up you used to create particular look.
ReplyDeleteThank you for differentiating between different eye shapes. This was most helpful!
ReplyDeletei loved videos so much they are wonderful ....could you please make a tutorial about indian actress aishwarya rais eye and cheek makeup ...her smokey eyes and highlighted cheeks always look wonderful ...please give some tips about it if possible ...thanks...
ReplyDeleteI got a bit scared watching this video, because I always apply eyeshadow above the lid (onto the hooded part) to create an optical illusion of a crease. Because I saw someone do it with asian eyes without creases. Am I stupid?
ReplyDeleteRegards, Lise
I actually think you look more beautiful than Angelina does!
ReplyDeleteThis has got to be one of the most helpful blog posts I've read for a long time! Great job Sam! very well explained!

Thank you for the great info about hooded eyes.
ReplyDeleteA question: Is there no way that girls with prominent "hoods" and deep creases can wear shimmer? Are we stuck with matte? Are there some general rules/tricks we can apply to make regular looks/tutorials "work" for us? Including shimmery looks, cat-eyes (tricky!), and the like?
Many thanks for your brilliant work!
Thank you for being so thorough with all of your tutorials! I love them, and I now am about to run out to buy some more makeup. Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteOne of your best qualities as a teacher is you make techniques seem so simple. Great video on the hooded eye. I want to say you and your sister Nik are so beautiful, but I cannot say that without saying your Mom is beautiful also.
