I love the original Nars book - I was given a copy as a gift and it's amazing. The plastic inserts are wonderful and there's literally endless looks. Looks like the new one might be worth a peek. Love what you've done with the greens!!
ReplyDeleteThank You!!!
ReplyDeleteFinally! I have beeen searching for this kind of makeup book for YEARS! Some come close, like Kevin Aucoin's Making Faces, but isnt detailed enough - this looks like just the thing. I will have to start hunting down a copy ASAP!
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWould love if you could turn it to a series - your top 5 favourite looks or something?
Great video. xoxox

ReplyDeleteGreat tutorial, but does everyone in the book look so bloody grim?
ReplyDeleteLooks like a GREAT book! And I just looove the emerald green look you created. It suits you better than the model in the book and you're much prettier. :)
ReplyDeleteThe second model, with make up on, looks a little like Julie Andrews in Victor/Victoria. xDD

I'm 2 weeks off the end of my english degree and you guys have really inspired me to follow my passion which is makeup. I'll be looking at some courses whilst working on friends and family to build up a bit of a portfolio and i'm so excited about it. You guys are really lovely people (or so you come accross) and i can bet you are getting all the sucess you deserve. Fab vid Sam and thanks for going to the effort for us all, I don't care if you get paid or not, in my opinion you should get paid because you are a professional makeup artist giving people tips, so i don't know where all the hatred comes from, you should start charging your subscribers themselves instead of having them claim that you are getting paid all the time! Tits! Haha x
ReplyDeleteso pretty

Awesome as always, just a side-note - In reference to the accidental black swan make-up tutorial, i also created a rather peculiarly stunning heel design in conjunction with it which i have uploaded to my blogspot too...

ReplyDeleteDear Pixie Woo, perhaps this might interest you. I am a fan of a very talented singer named: EDYTA GORNIAK. In my opition, she has a great stylist and her make up ideas are really inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI invite you to check out some of her looks on youtube ( Edyta Gorniak Playboy 2006 backstage, Edyta Gorniak 'On the run' video,or her picture gallery www.edytagorniak.com . Perhaps Pixies could do her make up looks. I am sure you can find many who will appreciate these creations.
Thanks :)
