I love that you put these face charts up! It's awesome to be able to see that actual products the MAs use to achieve the looks on the runways. AWESOME!! obsessionstolivefor.blogspot.com xx
Thanks for sharing Sam and Nic. I agree with Skye I love Haider Ackerman's MU but also that of Hannah Murray's MU for Maison Martin Margiela, specifically the Look1. Tom Pécheux's MU is full of poesy as usual. And I must add Carole Colombani's MU which, I think, is so beautiful, as well. Greetings from Paris.
I love reading the descriptions of the makeup looks and then scrolling back up to look at the make up artist's interpretatation. How they translate the words into a kind of art is amazing. I never knew how much work went into it and how the make up gives you the feeling the designer is trying to invoke.
I think the idea behind Maison Martin Margiela's make up is delightful. It really does remind me of the make up I used to steal from my mother and smear all over my face when I was younger!
Although the Alexis Mabille is one of the most translatable looks to real life, and is something I would definitely wear, the Kenzo make up is so interesting. I love those two colours together!
