This week saw the passing of a hollywood legend.
Sometimes her turbulent private life took centre stage and over the years perhaps many have forgetten or don't even realise what a brilliant woman she was.
Not only was Elizabeth Taylor an exceptionally good actress (winning two Academy Awards) she also spent decades as a social activist, championing the cause of AIDS awareness, research and cure. In those years she helped to raise more than $100 million to fight the disease.
It was heartbreaking to hear about Taylor's death. She was simply amazing! Great tutorial, very beautiful!!

ReplyDeleteAside from being one of the most beautiful women in the world, Elizabeth Taylor was such an amazing and inspirational woman. To raise awareness for AIDs when it was still a taboo subject was incredibly brave.

ReplyDeleteI have been wanting an Elizabeth Taylor tutorial for a while. I'm sad that it took her death to get one, but I love this. She has so many looks, and I recently read that she did her own eye makeup for "Cleopatra", and cut her own hair! Talented in many, many ways......

Thansk!
Hi Sam. It looks stunning. Elizabeth Taylor was an icon. I wish I could meet her. Just a question. What is the best eyelash glue to use? The ones that comes with the packets are not really worth it. I did a photo shoot with my friend and we had to re-apply glue to the lashes to keep it in place. You can go to my website: www.pjsmake-up.co.za to see photos of Bianca - the Model we made up. It was for a model profile.
ReplyDeleteOh...I forgot to say, your hair looks stunning.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteShe was one of my favorite inspirations! So said that she's gone :( A beautiful tutorial ladies!
