A Question about foundation: the titanium dioxide in foundation reflects light, so when photographed, faces appear 'white' or flashed out. Revlon released a 'photo ready' foundation which they clam finishes the white face in photos problem. The colour range isn't great...but the idea really appeals. In your professional work, how do you get around this? Do you use pigent only foundations for photo work? I'm already pale and sick of looking ill in photos when in real life my make up is matched. This is especially annyoing as I go to so much trouble to match my foundation to my cool toned pale skin. Is it possible for mere mortals to get their hsnds on such a foundation? (if it exists?) ???Thanks

Hey Sam & Nic! Lovvvvveeee the blog, have been following it for a bit now. I think you're both so wonderful! Congrats on the award as well - you both definitely deserve it! I have a quick question about foundation, I use Chanel Mat Luminere in Chestnut, with their powder, which I love it looks so wonderful, but I find that it moves a little bit once I put it on. It smudges on my winter accesories that happen to be cream... Do you guys have any advice on what I can use to get it not to move so much. I would really appreciate it!Thanks so much. Sidra
I have bumpits i found them useless
Fun picture! Her hair looks like a butterfly. ;)

I can't view Nic's tutorial either. It doesn't work, and when I go back through that particular section on Channel 4's site, it isn't listed. (Yours is, Sam, and I can view that.) Something must've gone wrong, I think.
dear sam and nic, for some reason, i cannot watch the vid?! could you include a player the next time just like you did with the flat iron curling vid? that would be awesome! thank you for everything!

hey sam and nic,i just wanted to say that i love love love what you doand that your list of makeup brands/companies that do not/do test their products on animals is really useful. i will now not knowingly buy something that has been made in such a wrong way. it's people like you guys who actually care that make the big differences!! thanks so much for that!!love your aussie fan in france!

Hello! I have a very good idea to pose to you: You have a beautiful eye color and makeup seems to look great on you ... BUT, (here is my proposal) is possible for you to wear contact lenses, brown or honey-colored, in a new video tuturial makeup, in the future? Thus we can see what is best for those with brown eye color ... I hope you like my idea ... It's a crazy idea? jajaa .. Greetings from Chile
great hair blog :http://highlightsmobile.blogspot.com/
Love your tutorials - I've learned a lot from you both, its very generous to share everything you do.Do you expect to do any more hair tutorials? I'm hoping for more basic everyday styles, and how to give yourself a simple layered trim. There are other You Tube videos, but they are all amateur and particularly grating with silly music and bouncing animation. You're both great because you avoid all that distracting crap. Thanks again from Toronto...
HELLLOOOOO!!!!!!! Hi Hi! I've been following your blog for ages now and i only just became a member of it and just subscribed to your youtube channel! i love adding comments to your page as i feel like i'm really a part of this website! Just wondering if you could add your 4beauty videos to youtube cos they all look brilliant, i just can't acess them! Also i would love to see more hair tutorials in general cos i love them! Some really wearable ones would be nice! Thanks a lot girls! xxxxx
