Why oh why did the MAKE UP FOR EVER store close down in South Moulton Street? 
Infact, now I think about it a few great make-up stores closed at around the same time including South Moulton Street drugstore and Face Stockholm. Perhaps the rent was increased or the location was wrong. Either way I have no doubt that if MUFE were still there it would be doing a roaring trade.
Since holding our make-up course in Guru Make-up Emporium (MUFE stockists and mail order) I have reignited my passion for the brand. Both Nic and I have been using the HD and Face & Body foundations, concealer and powder on shoots as well as eyeshadows, blushers and Aqua liners.
I just received these Aqua pencils in the post and have to admit that I let out a yelp of delight when I opened them and Nicola had a moment of silence.
We have since replaced almost all other liners in our kit with this tin of artist style pencils. Not only is the packaging slim, light and perfect for my kit but the lids don't fall off!
Above and beyond the packaging...the Aqua pencils are amazingly soft in texture and vibrant in colour.
Totally recommended.

ReplyDeleteoh, it looks amazing. :D I have to ask you two something, have you ever tried Make Up Store's products? I know that there's a store at 32 carnaby street and westfield in london.. Anywho, their eyeshadows are insanely pigmented, in my opinion way much better than mac and its about the same price.. and their concealer cover all mix is the best i've ever used.. go check them out if you havent yet and please tell me your thoughts if you do!! :)

ReplyDeletethese are the best eyepencils ever! they are waterproof and i mean WATERPROOF! Even on the waterline they stay on all day. I looked at the new aqua eyeshadows today and i think they are fantastic as well. Did you try them yet ? Please do a look with these pencils and the aqua shadows, i would love it !

ReplyDeleteI too was sad to see all those beauty stores disappear from South Molton Street. The drugstore was brilliant as they also stocked unknown brands from all over the place. It was like an Aladdin's cave. And the MUAs in MUFE and Face were always so nice, even though it was blatantly obvious that a kid like me could probably only afford an eyeliner.
Nothing makes me happy quite like a bunch of colors lined up in a row! I'll definitely be purchasing some of these soon as I'm in desperate need of new liners. Which one would be a similar color to MAC Buttery?
