These images were the inspiration behind Nic's Winged out shadow tutorial. Obviously the Kate Hudson shot was hugely influenced by the iconic image of Nadja Auermann on the cover of Harpers Bazaar.
I love the nude brows in contrast to the strong definition on the eyes and lips. A classic look that will come back time and time again.
Wow. Those lips are beautiful, and I love the contouring.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS. actually, kate hudson's look is what i imagined the White Queen (from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland) to look like. anne hathaway was still beautiful, but this would've been perfect!
ReplyDeleteHow stunning! Love both images. Quite fancy trying this out.
ReplyDeleteE x
love this! have to agree with dani i expected the same thing in alice in wonderland
ReplyDeleteLove it! They show big color on the eyes and also big color on the lip, but it doesn't look overdone, probably because of the eyebrows :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration!
kiss
Absolutly Gorgeous !
ReplyDeleteThe combo dark eyes / invisible eyebrows is Fabulous.
love love.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that a Kevin Aucoin look? It's one of my favorites. It almost looks like there is blue shadow because of her outfit and the way it's photographed. Totally gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe images are stunning. I adore the bold lip on Kate. Beautiful. On a sidenote, I also agree with Dani ;) x
ReplyDeleteHOT. Though I cant stop staring at Kate's uneven eyes! :( it's bugging me
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, i can see a blue shade in de back of that black, nice !
ReplyDeleteWow! Those eyes are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI still have that copy of Bazaar. Its funny how that look was "recreated" for kate almost to the "T"...not so creative.
