This is a Bobbi Brown bridal look and the first in our series of bridal looks.
Nic will be doing MAC and Estee Lauder looks and I will do Laura Mercier and Jemma Kidd. For all those who are looking for a counter makeover on your big day perhaps this will help you decide which brand is the best for you.
I use alot of gold tones when I do a bridal look. I find that they always photograph well, and simply make the bride glow. And I don't mean anything glittery-- think more of a J.Lo glow (a toned down version of what Scott Barnes used to do for her).
I always say exactly what you said Sam-- you want to be the most beautiful version of yourself on your wedding day. Laura Mercier and Prescrptives are great lines for a bridal look.
I got married a year ago and this would hve been so helpful for me, i did my own make up as no MUA could get it right, i was always uglier than when they started!! go figure! Was still pleased with the job i did in the end but your tutorials are just fantastic xx
I used Bone, Taupe and Mahogany for my wedding day 10 years ago. BB is great for a bridal look, especially for someone who doesn't ordinarily wear much. I totally agree with you about what textures translate well in photos. Great tutorial, as always.
Oh Sam... I'm from Mexico and my brother is getting married soon. I was looking for a good MUA over here, and I have seen TONS of MUAs doing this mistake (easily spotted it at their gallery pics). But thanks to you I know now what to ask for and have chosen a proper one for my bro's wedding.
Hi Sam & Nic I've been watching your videos for the past year and I must admit whenever I'm near a computer I have to check if there's a new video to watch. I was just wondering when you were going to add to your bridal series. I've only seen a Bobbi Brown and MAC one?? Patiently waititng ... : ) Noora
